What is 10KgRice ?

It is an effort of an individual to resolve the hunger problems of his society.

Each individual sponsors an amount equivalent to 10KgRice every month for the grocery of children at a Orphange or a school.

The contribution varies from 300Rs to 1000 Rs ( It should not exceed 1000)

Each member is associated with a group of 10 members. The group sponsors this total amount for the grocery of a needy place.

So a sum >3000 is funded to the Children home or any other needy place.

What we do ?

We hope that the below mentioned initiatives can help us in resolving this hunger problem

Aasha - Funding the grocery for the needy...we started it in a orphanage

Akshara - Sponsoring blackboards, stationery for schools...we started this in 2 schools

Anand - Interacting with children and having some entertaining as well as educating sessions

( 400 is the min chocolate + drawing charts + sketches + gifts expenditure for 100 odd children...Everytime an "Abhyasi- teaching initiative" begins..we have this Anand programme on the first day)...We already did it in 5 schools...interacting with about 1000 odd children

Aathman - We will be adopting individuals who need care takers for living... We need to start this project

Currently...

- We are doing the Aasha project every month. We are helping about 20 children to meet their rice expenses through this.

- We need to do other projects also regulary.

We have about 14 members in the Aasha project...

We have about 10 members in the Akshara project...

"A group of 10 or more is necessary to do an activity on a regular basis..One of the members in the group takes the responsibility of collecting money"

You can accompany us to one of the needy places where we are doing our activities. If you are interested to help them. you can join us in our existing teams and provide the support on a consistent basis.

We are going to soon launch a website to publish the efforts of various groups working in this aspect....
