We seperated the walkers zone from the road....we are not focussing on the encroachments...our thought is to bring about a habit among the walkers to use 2 to 3 feet of the road as footpath...without a line of difference...people tend to extend this to 5 to 7 feet.
We did it at Punjagutta junction to start with...Later moved to the road infront of "Big Bazaar"
We are successfull in our attempt..IN that 1 hour, we made about hundreds of walkers aware of a virtual footpath...Most of them appreciated the effort and wanted permanent ropes, so that daily people can follow this...once the awareness is in the mind..we dont think there is a need of boundaries
INDIA roads and footpaths can never be like the one at abroad....we think we started making a difference....if u think so...join us in this effort...
